View specsKirin chips and the folding Mate X
About half of the current Huawei phones with a listed chip use Kirin, and most of the rest use Snapdragon.
The Y name covers Huawei's budget line, where only one recorded model, the Y8p, breaks from LCD to OLED. The rest carry a 4,000 mAh battery at the median.
Nova sits above the Y series. The Nova 7i has an LCD screen, while the Nova 8 Pro and Nova 9 move to OLED.
The P and Mate flagships carry OLED screens on almost every model, and the Mate X phones and the P50 Pocket fold.
Recorded Huawei prices stop at 2021
Below Rs 45,000 the Y and Nova lines overlap. The Y9a tops the Y series at Rs 43,999, while the Nova 7i starts lower, at Rs 41,999. The cheapest Nova costs less than the dearest Y.
